Sizing Dilemma: Why does your bra suddenly feel tight in summer?

A summer phenomenon not mentioned in size charts

In summer, our body behaves differently than in winter. Due to high temperatures, blood vessels dilate and the body naturally retains much more water. The result? What fit perfectly a few months ago is suddenly tight in July.

The biggest struggle arises when you are between two sizes. Women who normally wear a size somewhere between S and M experience a real dilemma during hot days.

Lingerie that breathes with you

When I started designing lingerie for MUSE, my top priority was that a woman shouldn't have to adapt to the cut.

The cut must adapt to the woman. And in summer, this is three times more important.

Most classic bras have very limited adjustment options – often only two or three hooks, which don't give you many choices when you swell in the summer.

That's why we design our bras so that the underbust circumference can be adjusted much more flexibly and over a wider range than with regular lingerie.

Don't suffer for beauty

Summer is too short to spend it in underwear that restricts your movement and doesn't allow you to breathe freely.

If you're currently in that annoying phase where you don't know if you're an S or an M, trust your body and listen to it. Don't force it into tight, unyielding boxes.

Reach for light, hand-stitched, wire-free designs that respect the body's natural anatomy and give you the freedom to choose at any moment of the day.
